Description:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> The term holistic<\/strong> relates to the whole of something or to the total system instead of just its parts. Social prescribing<\/a> reinforces an approach to health that accounts for mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of an illness.<\/p>\n

There are different social prescribing models<\/a> but within Wales the most common one is holistic<\/strong> which, aided by a social prescribing practitioner<\/a> who helps the client navigate and access suitable services, aims to use a whole-person approach over a longer period of time.<\/p>\n
